Sober since 2010. A passion for helping others recover, grounded in personal experience and professional expertise in hospitality and entrepreneurship.

About Paul

Paul Gardner is the Managing Director of Tharros Recovery, and interfaces with clients and families on a daily basis. Paul found his sobriety in Los Angeles, CA in 2010. After undergoing inpatient treatment in a non-12-step facility, he connected with the program of Alcoholics Anonymous, becoming an active member. He lived in a sober living home for 13 months before starting his own sober house in LA.

Paul is driven by his personal battle with addiction and his passion to help others recover. He holds a degree in entrepreneurship from Babson College in Wellesley, MA. In addition to starting several ventures, his professional background includes 12 years in the hospitality industry, most recently as the General Manager for a Marriott Hotel in Los Angeles.

Paul brings a unique combination of lived recovery experience, business acumen, and hospitality expertise to his work at Tharros House. He works closely with clients, families, clinicians, and treatment providers to build a program grounded in accountability, community, and the belief that each person's recovery belongs to them.
